Cathy Pollock is an AmSAT certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. She has worked with clients of all backgrounds and abilities to help them improve the way they use themselves in all of the activities of daily life. Cathy’s work focuses on retraining the nervous system to help individuals let go of harmful habit patterns that cause discomfort or inefficiency.

What is the Alexander Technique?

The Alexander Technique was developed over 100 years ago by Frederick Matthias Alexander. The Alexander Technique is an educational process that helps improve posture, movement, and overall body awareness through conscious choice and intentional movement. By changing the way we think, we can unlearn harmful habits, use our body more efficiently, and rediscover our innate ease.
